Kelly Rochford……….Watch out for this great specialist in the areas of body wellness and fitness!!

Ok, so my great trainer, Kelly is sculpting my poor, painful muscles into something that will look amazing in the foreseeable future- he is the most dedicated, patient person, I have ever come across and I know this because I carry on so much with every torturous dumbell lift, and with every dreadful boxing punch I have to deliver- is this man a saint?

Yes, we’re dropping in kilo’s, and during conversation just yesterday, Kell’s (just jokingly) tells me that there is such an “item” called the “squatters gut” and this might possibly occurs when the muscles are pushed out too far and stretched during “singing technique” if you please, that this “item” may become a possession of yours if you take singing classes and breathe from the diaphragm.!!!!

I am at this shocking point in time thinking that my “Kelly” has developed a watermelon like state below his belly button, I am wide eyed, shocked and wish I was on another planet, what had I done to this wonderful human being?

Well to my horror, I check out the “Andonis-like figure” standing in front of me - there is no “item”!!!There is no “watermelon”.

I advise  Kelly that in 25 years of coaching world class vocalists, I have never seen or heard of such a thing, but who knows perhaps Kelly with the “Andonis-like figure, but even better” is going to be my “first”!!!  I advise Kelly to stop imagining things, stop his whingeing and get on with the Job of singing properly!

I hope my very dear friend “Kelly” gets to read this blog, we can laugh together about, the those snippets of life that are just so memorable, and the “S B” is certainly one of them.
